Culture is the basis of language formation and its value and connotation. English teaching should fully understand the key role of culture teaching. Tea culture, as a common part of the traditional culture of countries along the belt and road, is of great significance to language teaching and should be included in the language teaching system. In this paper, the relationship between language teaching and culture teaching as the foundation, from the development history, concrete form and cultural connotation in the three aspects of the British tea culture the difference comparison, and the "area" under the background of the differences in college English teaching are discussed in this paper, the application in order to realize the organic integration of language teaching and culture teaching, enhance the culture and language ability of students.
文化是语言形成的基础,也是其价值与内涵所在,英语教学应当充分理解文化教学的关键作用。茶文化作为“一带一路”沿线国家的传统文化中所共通的部分,其差异比较对语言教学具有重要意义,应当被纳入到语言教学的体系中来。本文以语言教学与文化教学的相互关系为基础,从发展历史、具体形式和文化内涵三个方面对中英茶文化进行了差异对比,并就“一带一路”背景下这些差异在大学英语教学中的应用进行了探讨,以期实现语言教学与文化教学的有机融合,有效提升学生的文化积淀与语言能力。
