What you need to do

You are required to take a random sample of 100 transactions and conduct your analysis on the basis of this sample. DO NOT JUST TAKE THE FIRST 100

OBSERVATIONS IN THE DATABASE!

Because your analysis is done on a RANDOM sample, your results will not be the same as the results of any other student group. Using statistical methods

listed below and any other techniques you think may be useful, summarise the data and comment on your findings.

 Analysis by Customer Type

Management is interested in knowing relationships between Customer Type (i.e. Loyalty or Regular) and the other variables. After sorting the data by Customer

Type, you are initially interested in analysing the following variables:

Management is also interested in understanding JMart customers and their spending habits based on the value and number of items in customer transactions.

From your random sample of 100 transactions, you are interested in analysing JMart customers on the basis of:
